something is definitely funny there.  its definitely the Passkey 3 system...if someone has done some work, what kind of work?  I've seen the ignition modules fail and not allow the car to run WITH the key....but yours seems opposite...seems the PK3 system is disabled permanently!

pull the clamshell from the column and take a peek at the pk3 wires (blk / YELLOW thin wires)...has anybody hacked in resistors and a relay?  or just resistors??

iv had it where that same car wouldn't start with the key,,so to fix it i put in a pkg3 and a remote starter for the customer,.....it was cheeper than what the dealer wanted to fix it so it works properly again.
