I was looking at the Clifford Matrix 2.5x or the Viper 690XV. They look pretty much the same. What do they come with? Will I need/want anything extra? I don't want remote start and I don't want the alarm to go off when loud cars go by. What sensor causes the alarm to go off when a loud car goes by anyways? My car sets off alarms all the time and I think its so annoying when they just sit there and honk. Don't want my car to do that.
Thanks,
Clay G.

Viper and Cliford are the same company the units are the same .What sets off alarm's is a shock sensor but this is adjustable. Dont worry abot whicjh one to chose they botha re identical other than remote looks.

Vipe purchased Clifford a few years ago so they are the same except for the faceplate on the remote other wise if you took off all the covers they are as it has been stated identical.
