Hi - tried searching for this but had no luck. Is there a remote starter that is an add-on to the factory keyless entry rather than a replacement for it? Also might be interested in a remote starter and alarm combo that is an easy add-on to a vehicle with factory keyless entry and starter lockout. Particularly looking for easy installation, plug-in harness adapters would be absolutely ideal. Thanks in advance!

Do you have the factory alarm? If so, the factory remotes don't work when the car is on. Go start it with the key and try to use the remote and you'll see what I mean. Not to mention the range on the factory remotes is probably under 100 feet....not something I would want.
Sorry, you won't find a T-harness to make your life easy. You don't have an easy vehicle to work on. Do you have the transponder key?

Nope - would have mentioned the factory alarm if I had it.
Range - I only need about 30 feet.
As for the harness - I believe that I've already found one.

www.directwholesale.net  has harnesses  they look great although i have never tried them. and yes almost any remote starter made can function as a slave system, you don't use the antenna or transmitters and tap into the door lock wire to pulse the negative trigger input to start(program the system for double pulse so that you don't start it everytime you unlock) or some companies offer "add-on" remote starters wich are usually their normal system minus trans & antenna etc.

As for the easy plug and play there is nothing that is that easy...almost but not quite

As for the RS/alarm i would go and have one installed if its something your not wanting to try on your own. Just about every manufacturer as an add on RS to any car with keyless
