dome light mark anthony 10.4 flipdown

i installed a mark anthony 10.4 flipdown screen in a 02 ford explorer the screen show a perfect picture works great, but it has dome light in it  i hook the lights up to the factory dome light  acc 12v , door trigger and ground like instruction said but the light does not work, so i got another screen and the lights worked for a min. then quit now i can't get it to work and ideas would greatly be appreciated thanks

which wires did you hook up to?????

A lot of time what I do when wiring in a domelight for the overhead is ONLY tap the trigger itself from the domelight. Tie the power and ground into your power and ground wire for the tv and run them to the ignition harness. I've been noticing a lot of the newer cars just don't have the power available to fire up the extra domelights on the domelight circuit itself. Doesn't blow a fuse or anything, just doesn't work. May want to give that a try. Good luck,
