Have everything completed for the alarm itself..but for the life of me I can't find the tach wire or the 2 front window up/down wires. I found the up/down for the primary windows..but i believe its wired for a relay for the pass window (not motor wires). either way, i dont want to run through the door if i dont have to..quite a lot of work.
anyone have any suggestions for tach wire and window up/down wire locations?
btw this is the 3.5l nissan engine.. my chilton manual only has the 3.3l wiring :-/

directwire's diagrams are completely wrong for my Pathfinder. I'm not sure why, but there are multiple diagrams floating around for the 2001+ Pathfinder
Just for example, this claims power unlock is yellow and lt green:

In fact, power unlock is actually GREEN/ red and brown:

Odd huh?
If the switch is in fact the only location I can tap the drivers window..I'll probably just pass on that. I've always hated feeding the wire through the door jam..and on the Pathfinder, getting it through the door jam is only the beginning (its wires are crampd beyond belief). Maybe I'll just wire in the sunroof 01 pathfinder tach wire and window up/dn -- posted image.
Regarding the tach wire... the second URL I posted has a note at the bottom that says the tach wire is wrong and to use the BLACK/ WHITE wire at the tacho module.. who the heck knows what the tacho module is :-/ I can't find it..

i do a lot of nissan and I never have a problen, passing the wires into the door is not to bad is just time consuming , but if you love doing installantions it should be no problem the more you do the more you learn
