I own a 2005 Chevy Equinox w/ the stock stereo and single CD player. I am considering hard wiring my IPOD so that it will work in conjunction w/ the stock stereo. Several products are available that allow this connection. The one I've been looking at is the Dension Ice-Link... a pretty clever product... Anyway, the hookup is pretty simple - directly to the CD changer port on the back of the stereo unit. I was wondering what the easiest way to access the back of the unit is... through the glove box? Do I need an y special tools? I'm new to all of this and trying to save a few bucks, so any info you have would be helpful.. Thanks!
