Hi,

I have installed remote starter cs300 for Toyota Corolla 03.  Everythings are connected and programed exept for "ground when running wire".  every times I start with remote, engine works right but then alarm go off on the same time "manufacture alarm".

what would be the probs?  and how important to have ground when running wire connected? any helps will be greatly appreciated.

Tom

Are you sure its the factory alarm going off?   Does it only do it when the doors are locked?  Is it ok if you don't lock the doors?

Find the key sense wire--- this is in the little two-pin plug at the ignition cylinder, right next to the ignition wires----- it will show a ground whenever the key is inserted---- attach your "ground when running wire" directly to here, and it will disarm the factory alarm when you remote start.

do what chris said i have done this before same prob with an add on to the factory keyless entry upgrade alarm and i had to do just that so it does not matter when the car is armed cause that key sence wire disables it and when the door lock mod knows the doors are locked it automatically rearms alarm .

Thanks a lot guys,  Yes, factory alarm going off even doors is unlocked or disarmed.  I have installed a few different models, and it never happened before.  Key sense is the prob. that Chris pointed it out.  It is working right now. Thanks again
