thank you jeff for pointing out search button but I did the search before posting.
I am using lynx for the first time and it seems to have only 3 wires coming out with 12 volt for starting. for starter,1 ign and ign 2 wich says accessory at same time. now what should i use the 2nd wire for? ign2 or as accessory. the cavalier has 2 ign wires.
please help if you can.
Thank you.
by the way bobk, what do you mean by double post?

There's a wire that is used for 2nd IGN on the secondary harness. I can't remember off hand, but what you can also do is use this diagram : http://www.velocitymotorsport.com/images/install_notes/2nd_ignition_relay.jpg

This will give you a second IGN wire to hook up the WHITE wire to.

What do you mean by this ? There is a main harness on the Lynx system that has all the IGN wire that you will need. Read the installation manual and it will tell you all the necessary wires that are required for the remote start to work.

Hi guys,
I am trying to install this lynx 2000R into my friend's 1999 Cavalier Z24. on my control module I only have output for ign 1 and the other 1 for ig2 but it says ACC as well for the same wire. does anyone know what is the orange wire Ig 2(ACC) on the module used for. is it really ign or accessory wire?
I will be very thankful to the helper

According to the manual, page 10:
IG2(ACC) +12V Output
The + output is used to supply power ti supplementary devices as the heater and air conditioner. Find the wire that supplies power to the heater fan/air conditioner fan or climate control unit. If more than one wire is needed, use a relay.

HI guys,
I am having some serious trouble installing this Lynx 2000R on a cavalier. (1) the model is supposed to be for both auto and manual tranny but there are no direct bypass wires for it on the module for the mnual transmission. Also the clutch wires on the switch are both grounded when clutch is not depressed. How do i bypass such system since i loose ground on 1 wire as soon as i press the clutch. (2)HOw many accessory wire do have to connect on this model. I have 2 on the car but have only 1 output wire on the module. (3) Where is the concvenience module located since that's where I will need to connect my door trigger wires.
Please try to help as much as you can.
This is really getting messy
Thank you in advance
