Hello,

I have a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer with an Automate AM9 alarm installed and the perimeter lighting does not illuminate when you disarm using the automate remotes.  It works fine with the factory remotes.

Is there an issue with the AM9 and the perimeter lights coming on after the vehicle is unlocked?

Thanks for any advice you can offer.

Perimeter meaning exterior parking lights or interior domelight?
Was the H1/4 BLACK/ WHITE (-) 200 mA DOMELIGHT SUPERVISION OUTPUT used to allow the interior lights to come on when disarming?

Steve,

The exterior lights (headlight and backup lights do not go on).  I was told that this feature would only work with the factory remotes.  I am not sure about the BLACK/ white wire connection since the alarm was installed at the dealer.

The vehicle is currently at the dealer because the car starts when you turn the key to IGN and gently tap the key instead of rotating the key forward against the resistance of the spring.

Thanks for the fast reply!
