I have installed the remote starter, but am having trouble with the door unlock/lock.  I have the new remote working the locks, but when used to unlock the vehicle it is setting off the factory alarm, according to wiring diagram I used I should have a ylw/white wire at the kick panel to disarm (not locating it), I am also having trouble hooking up the horm chirp?

According to DEI, the disarm wire is red in the drivers door harness. Horn should be light green in the column, no relay is needed.

MITSUBISHI, GALANT, 2000, Factory Alarm Disarm
When doing remote start on vehicles with factory alarm, must also interrupt the blue/red (-) key sense wire at the steering column using the status output wire to bypass the factory starter kill.
