ok this site has been a great help, after using the available wiring diagrams and searching through previous posts, i have answered most of my questions. although with the alarm ive purchased it needs 2 12V constant battery sources at the ignition switch. or i can run both of the wires to the battery, i would prefer not to run both wires all the way to the battery, but after looking through this and other sites it looks like the only 12V constants is the white wire at the ignition switch harness?

anyone know of another?

thanks

chris

The WHITE wire at the ignition harness is sufficient for powering the remote starter and it's other features.
