I'm currently preparing to install a remote start combo on a 2004 Mazda 3 and a 2006 Scion TC. Im looking to buy the kits from bypasskits.com. I want to get the XK04 and XK05.

Can I just use the kits right out the box, or do they have to be programmed first? By programmed I mean using the D2D datalink.

Thanks ! ! !

They will need to be flashed for the specific cars . If you don't have a cable and software, you can ask them to flash them for you.

Is up to the installer to test all wires with a DMM whenever possible.

actually on the vehicles you listed both those modules come defaulted with the software you need so NO they will not need to be flashed.
