Hi, newbie to this forum trying to solve a problem ;)

I've bought a GIORDON G686SP car alarm system. I only want to install the keyless entry unit.

The wiring should be as follows, assuming I have a negative trigger door lock system:

Orange---No Use.

White----Connect to Vehicles unlock wire.
Yellow---Connect to Ground.

ORANGE / Black---No Use.

WHITE/ Black----Connect to Vehicles lock wire.
Yellow/Black---Connect to Ground.

Connecting it to the wires on the driver side door is probably the easiest way, but can anyone help me find out what colour the lock/unlock wires are in a BMW 1992 320i - european ?

Thanks

Lock wires are WHITE/ red and unlock is blue/red.  According to DEI------On models without the factory alarm plug you will need to locate the ZV module. The ZV module is located behind the glove box towards the right side just to the right of the ABS control module. The ZV module is a black plastic box. To access remove the ABS control module WITHOUT unplugging it. Locate the white plug on the ZV module. All of the pins are numbered. Add wires to pins 24 and 25. Pin 24 is lock and pin 25 is unlock. There is a factory alarm plug on all production models starting on 1-92. The alarm plug is a black 12 pin plug located just behind the glove box. It is mounted with the pins facing you atop a vent just to the left of the body computer.

Also check to see what output the wire is giving because the door locks are + triggers.  If its giving negative when triggering then you may have to change the yellow/black wire and yellow wire to constant power and test the white and WHITE/ black wire to see if its giving positive.
