I've got the Remote Start in my Range Rover all set up and working properly, except for one instance. After a long period of time (like overnight, for example) the truck does not want to start unless the door opened first. It's like the immobilizer won't allow anything to happen unless the door opens first. Has anyone else experienced this? Anybody have any ideas to get around it?

After an overnight period when it won't remote start, does it crank? Does it NOT crank?  Do the lights on the dash come on and do the relays in the r/s brain click?

Sounds like, preliminarily at least, the BECU (body electronic control unit) is going into sleep mode -- therefore it may need to be re-wire such that the door pin receives the GWR (-) signal (after factory alarm disarm) and THEN the remote start will start the engine right up.
