Problems w/Remote Starter Automate AM1, 2007 GMC Duramax

I will try to make the short.  2007 GMC duramax loaded.  Has factory remote start.  Got the add on alarm.  They used the Automate, AM1.  My first problems were:

Arm:  Chirp..chirp,chirp   Hold remote start.  Alarm starts chirping and then the truck would start and alarm would go off.

Disarm:  Two chirps (no problems)

Took back to dealer.

New problem

Arm: Chirp   (great !)  remote start truck.  Alarm goes off.  Or the truck does not start at all. 

Disarm:  4 chirps

Arm:  One chirp (great!)

Start:  Truck starts and Alarm goes off.

The dealer installer told me that the alarm was getting a double pulse from the passenger door locks to lock and that was the problem.  I have seen the door lock do a little bump up and down when you hit the lock button. 

What does anyone think?

I have read the owners manuel.  The problem is that it is pointing to the doors.  I have checked them several times and have found no problem.   It is pointing to a trip even though it hasn't happened.  The truck is just sitting and tripping.  If I bring it back to the shop, I am going to have them remove it.  I have a feeling this thing is junk. 

Swerks, how much do you get for a tractor alarm in AB?   

I have heard this also.  I asked the last tech about it and he said that it is OK.  I do not know what the program code is to check that it is turned off for a light delay.  When they changed my module, the problem changed to this.  I am not sure that the programing is all that correct. 

Another on said that the door lock on the drivers side does a little bouncing step that will upset it.  I see mine doing this. If  anyone has run into this, I would like to know.

Yes, new style.  Glad to know that these guys have probably not run into this yet with this truck.  No I haven't tried to turn off the dome dimmer option .  .  I will try that.   Also, since they changed the module, when I arm before I hit start, I have been getting the regular "one chirp", when I hit the start, the alarm seems to give me the 4 to 5 chirps while the truck starts and then the alarm goes off.  This is the scenereo when the truck has sat in the drive overnight.  It is very intermittent. 

I have been into electronics for 20 years.   So I have general knowledge of the subgect.  I understand diodes.  The door diodes are used for what?    One of the forums was talking about using a relay on dome lights for "bleed through" voltage.  I have run into bleed voltage going into electronic relays (thyristors) instead of hard contact relays before.  They build up a voltage over time and then discharge unexpectedly.  I have to isolate them with hard relays.  Get back to you on the overhead light.
