At the top of the page click the "Find Installers" link. It will return a list of people in Australia that registered here as installers. One might be close to you.
Or just click here
Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.

Hey guys,
I recently started installing a remote lock kit into my 2000 Mitsubishi Lancer ce when i struck a problem of the wiring diagram in the kit not matching my cars wires (proberly a common problem)
i used a test light to try identify the wires on the kits diagram with those in the car the best i could but when i tried it wired up it just blew a fuse.
The kit im trying to install is a "steel mate" 386m.
My car already has central locking, i am just trying to add the remote lock into it.
If any of you would be able to help me with which wires go where i'd be greatful.
Heres the wireing diagram that come with the kit:

If you need any more info please ask.

If it's central locking then you need to add an actuator to the driver's side door this will operate all the doors to do the same. Wire in two relays and connect the lock and unlock wires to the control unit and call it a day.
