I have done this before with a 66 Caprice and 2 Modle A coils. Now I have been working on my show truck (driven year round). Since it is fuel injected I have SAFELY added propane for the effect. I found through research that motorcycle coils work. Now the wiring is the catch, since I know nothing about motorcycles. Any help out there.

Honestly your best bet would be to just buy a kit from autoloc.  Basically what you would have to do is buy an ingition coil and a spark plug.  You would also have to cut power going to the car's ignition coil or distributor ( as to send raw fuel through the engine ).  What you would do would be to install a momentary switch in the car and ground one end.  Take the other end of this switch and divide it to 86 of two seperate relays, then hook up a +12 v to 85.  For relay number one it will need +12V to 30 and 87 would end up powering the coil for the spark plug.  For relay number 2 you would need to locate the coil or the distributor's power wire and cut it, extend each wire to where the relays are and wire one end to 30 and the other end to 87A.  So basically when you would hit the momentary switch Relay 1 would ignite the spark plug in the exhaust pipe and Relay 2 would kill the power to you ignition sending raw fuel through the engine and out the exhaust were the fuel would be ignited and you would have flames.  Also just to note I do not believe this can be done on a vehicle with a catylitic converter.  This is just what I thought up and is basically what the autoloc peice will accomplish,  I have never installed one of these nor have I done this with relays so USE THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
