Does anyone have the wiring color code for a nissan sentra 90' side mirror . I need to hook it up to close when armed and open when disarmed.

if they do power fold that you have to hook up relays first you have to find out what wire does what and wether it is a possitive or negative device, you test this if you have a switch that controls them opening and closeing than you will mostlikely have a plug with three wires connected to the mirror that controls the motors, one negative and possibility two possitives one for each open and close, or one pos and two negatives,  either way you have to see. there is somethign that is called a time delay relay you could go to most sound alarm places and get one if you have one switch than you will only need one if you have two switches one for each side then you will need two of them then  for more help email me and i will help include what wires are on the device you drive and wether you switch tot he mirros put of pos or negative. most likely pos but you never know,

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.

If the mirrors are JDM then there are only 2 wires in the circuit. They alternate polarity between each other to open and close the mirrors.

to securinu : power fold in when i arm the alarm and out when i disarm.

I busted open the control for the mirrors yesterday . there are 2 wires that need alternate polarity to close and open them . (one needs + and the other needs -, to reverse the mirrors the polarity on both wires are changed).

The open/close switch- this is how it works - when i push the factory switch it closes . now when you push the switch the switch , it will stay down and remain down and will always stay down until you decide to push it the other way . i believe there is some sort of timer or electronic circuit that tells the motors to stop running when it is fully close or open. There is a middle position on the switch but it doesn't do anything except stop power flow to the motor circuit so you can have the mirror partially open/close..

while the mirrors are closing if you push the switch to the middle position before the mirrors fully closes then the mirrors will stop . you therefore need to allow the switch to be down  until the mirrors fully open or closes. you can use this to allow the mirror to partially open or close . this is just additional info on how the switch works so you can get a better understanding .

i need the mirrors to fully close and fully open.

bye the way velocity motors what is JDM ? u were right 2 wire reversing polarity ...

JDM is Japanese Domestic Market .... they are off a Japanese vehicle. Chances are you only got the mirrors and the switch without the servo control box, right ? Does your alarm have a Latched or 3 second output (-) when disarmed ?

I think you're right .it is a japanese import and everything is in japanese writing . i can't find any sort of control box or relays or circuit that controls the mirror - just the switch and the mirrors . so then how does the motors knows when to stop ?

i have the hornet 725t alarm - just a neg when armed .  my 2nd channel is used for trunk release .
