I’m gonna guess he’s probably doing the same thing I’m doing,
trying to install a radio without getting the extra wire harness.
I’m looking for the wire diagram also, except for an 03 Tahoe’s/Bose/and onstar. I need the wire color codes the most. 😁

If it does not have a premium bose system you can get by with a 20 dollar harness. To see if it has a premium bose, turn the volume up quickly, if the volume goes up quickly you do not have a premium bose system. If it takes a second or 2 to go up you have a premium bose system. If you have a premium bose system and do not want to spend the money on the appropriate harness you will need to bypass the amplifier. If it is not a premium bose the Metra 70-2003 harness will work.

If it does have a premium bose system the following thread shows you where the bypass plug is located. The 70-2003 will plug into this harness as well.

Ya mine has the premium Bose and onstar, I don’t care about the onstar. I have already purchased 2 different harnesses one was 89 bucks the other 39 bucks. Both don’t work with the onstar, one is for standard stereo, the other said it was for premium system but apparently there is some level of different “premiums”.
Kinda go tired of messing with the BS and was looking to hard wire multi-medium harness to dash wiring.
I googled wiring diagrams, and had a bit of an issue with what they call brown when I only see beige/tan etc.
Not to mention I’m a product every male on both side of the family being color-blind. So I’m red/green pastel color deficient.
But that doesn’t mean I can’t match them up, I just need a color chart showing the light green is deferent from the tan. 😀

If you still have one of them it will work on the bupass plug. Read the thread on the above posted link.

Just wanted to say thank you so much!! I found that other plug, got it all connected, and fired it up. I finally have music!! YaY!! It’s been months without.
I bought a double din, touch screen with nav, Bluetooth, and back up camera over a year ago that was planning on swapping out myself.
But I became hesitant when I was told (repeatedly) that I should have a professional do it because my Tahoe has all the electronic bells and whistles and it’s easy to screw up.
About 6 or so months ago, all my speakers just quit. A month later, they all came back for a few days, then back out a few more times.
Then, the only speaker working was the subwoofer.
I couldn’t take it anymore, and finally got a few days that I didn’t have to worry about going anywhere, so I was determined to make it work.
Thanks to you, that process didn’t take as long as it was look like it was going too. I’m soooo excited, and my husband is kinda shocked that I spent less time on it than I did installing my light bar lol. 😁👍🏼
