I have done a couple of these trucks.  (python 1500)  the locks are quite a pain!!  does anyone know where the keyless module is in these vehicles?  any help would be greatly appreciated.

The best thing you can do is get a data bus module for these.  All you will have to do is hook up 1 wire at the data link connector and it will do all your door lock/alarm functions.  Otherwise you have to go into the doors.

Is this also true for a 2000 Silverado? If so, what part #? Thanks.

No, 2000 you don't need this module.  You can get all the lock, unlock, disarm wires at the module under the steering column.

It can be done w/o the data-bus module, but you have to put relays inside each door.  It sucks bad.   Data bus is definately the way to go.
