how do i wire my sunvisor lcd screen to my stereo system? the stereo has an aux. option built into it. and the screen has 4 wires. two wires are jacks (red and yellow and I assume they're both video jacks cuz theres video one and video two option on the sunvisor)the other two are the positive and negative wires which i took care of. the screen works fine... i just don't have any sound. any insight would be greatly appreciated. thanx.

RCA jacks are suppose to be yellow=video, red=sound, white=sound.  Let me get this strait, you have an LCD screen that fits in your sunvisor and you can play video on it, but you don't hear any sound.  Where are you playing your DVD or TV?  Is it from your stereo?  I need a little more info on your system and what you want done to it, but try to hook up sound to the red RCA jack and see if that works.

Hey,  I have the same kind of LCD screen, and I'm having the same kind of problem. On mine the red and yellow are audio in and video in. I don't have an audio out plug, do you? I'm pretty sure if theres no audio out plug you can't get sound. I mean I have headphone plug, but  we need the one that could hook up to the head unit.

thats the link to the item. I won it off ebay. Both the RCA jacks are video jacks. I'm playing DVDs and video games via my playstation 2. What I want to do is to connect the sound source (whether my ps2 or dvd player or etc.) to my stereo. My stereo has an "aux" option. also, the description on the ebay item states that I can wire it up to my existing stereo system for sound.

Ok, I looked at the wires you have and their the same exact wires I have as well. Now unless there is some kind of adapter we can buy, I'm afraid were without sound. I can't see the picture that clear, but does yours have a headphone jack? If anyone with more experiance could help us out here that would be great.

I think and hope I'm overlooking something because, really, who makes a monitor with no sound hookups? What good is that?

Guys, you can do two simple things.  If your head unit has aux-in, then take the sound output from your PS2 or DVD player and hook it up directly to the head unit instead of the sunvisor screen.  Or if the sunvisor screen had the headphone jack, you can get an adapter at Radio Shack or some other electronics store.  Hope that helps.
