From another post I found that the VSS is in Location 2, 22 Pin Connector POsition 8. GREEN/ Orange.
Supposedly it's behind the glove box. Well so is a myraid of other connectors going into the car CPU. Can some please be very specific as to where it is or even post a pic of the right connector?

Still having problems finding the VSS wire. I found one GREEN/ orange wire but it's not the VSS wire. (i tried it.)
The only 22 pin connector (which does happen to be the 2nd fom the left connector) does NOT have ANY wire in position 8. So I tried connecting the AVIC-n2 vss lead to the pin in position 8 but it still seems not very accurate.
Can any one please assist on this?

OK, so I found the ONLY 22pin connector going into the ECM behind the glove box. It is indeed the 2nd connector from the left. However, position 8 is vacant. No wire. I placed the bare lead from the AVIC-N2 into the open hole and Viola! But I need to make a permanent pin crimp to make it sturdy.
