That is a big problem. i guess my first question would be, how much general knowledge of electronice do you already have? the test is 150 questions. and the book covers a lot of info, a lot of wich most installers dont agree with.  I  have the guide sitting infront of me, and i wish i could send ya the whole thing, but its 176 pages long.  This is a good link if you have any questions, and covers a lot of info on the electronics side of things, but in NO way follows the test. http://www.eatel.net/~amptech/elecdisc/caraudio.htm ( by the way dont let this site confuse you, it goes a little past basics in my opinion-a lot more than u need to know for mecp )

this is a hard situation, espically if you dont have a lot of time. ide say just try it and see if you pass, but it takes like 7-8 weeks to get your results back ( what the hell right?)  Keep in mind the test is 150 questions you can miss up to 45 of them total. ( 15 in each section)  a 70% in each section.  If there is any areas that youve heard on the test, that u wanna know more about feel free to ak me, ill look it up for you and tell you what it says in the study guide.

I also just E-Mailed you the Table of Contents of the basic study guide. my e mail is R_dipasquale@hotmail.com , so look for that.  If you have any questions on any of those topics ( cant find the right info online) i can tell you what it says in the book.
