Right now i have an MTX 12" 6000 powered by a RF 360.2 amd and a MTX 4244 powering my components (pioneer 3-way 6.5s and 6x9s)

Anyways ... i want to add a computer to my car with an LCD display, DVD-ROM and nav system. I got the LCD and most of the computer components. The LCD is going to be moded where my HU is (there is room for a double did) and i'm gonna make a mount for the HU under it.

I want to build a Fiber Glass enclosure for the subs that has a place to mount the amps. And i still need room for the PC. Right now i have the sub firring into the car through hole behond the arm rest (the arm rest folds down to see the sub). For the DVD-ROM i want it to be accessable from inside the car. My first though was to get a case for it (one that lets you use it outside of the computer AKA external) and mount it inside of the glove compartment. But if i do that i would have to then buy and extension for the USB 2 wire and get an expansion car for the PC to let me use USB 2 (the mother board ont has USB 1 slots). If i do that i can't get a wireless NIC and i'd have to get a far less superior wireless internet USB adapter (wireless it to transfer stuff from my internet connection tot the car) If i do it like this i can then keep the sub firing inse through the armrest hole and make the FG enclosure like that. Mounting the amps on the outside of it visible only in the trunk.

My other option is mounting the DVD-ROM in the whole where the arm rest is. Then i would not have to get the external caseing, USB 2 extension or USB 2 expansion slot. Then i can have the sub firing into the FG enclosure so that magnet is visable in the trunk (i think this looks better and i'll save a lil bit of room with the box) Then mount the amps on eigther side of the sub.

for both options the CPU will be in a custom plexi case mounted inside of the FG enclosure

btw:   the sub does not have to fire into the car.... in fact you will probably hear no noticable difference by aiming it backwards...... some cars even get more bass by aiming backwards....   seeing the sub through the back will ultimately alow you to hear any distortion the sub is making.   Just a thought
