Hey... just stumbled across this forum tonight while trying to research a project. Looks to be pretty informative!

I'm working on a project to replace the factory equipped turn signals on my Gixxer 1000 with a set of LED's. Most of the aftermarket stuff out there is OK, but still kind of bulky. I'm looking to mount 5 or 6 individual LED's into each passenger foot peg mount. They are going to need to be pretty bright though so they can be seen in the daylight too.

I checked led123.com, but it looked like they had a minimal supply to work with. Whats the best place to dig up something that would work for this project? Is their anything out there brighter then 8000mcd, or is that pretty much an insane intensity? I've been out of the electronics loop for quite a few years now. My source voltage unchanged is just shy of 11 volts, but I guess could be stepped down pretty easily. I'm trying to do this without cluttering up my storage compartment too much.

Thanks for any insight.....

Just a FYI, you need to be careful swapping out lights on a vehicle. They are regulated by DOT.
That being said, check your local electronic specialty stores. You will also need some resistors as well.
