Typically, mass produced prefabbed boxes are not made of fibergalss. Usually it's consturcted of MDF or plastic injection molding like MTX Thunderforms. Fiberglass is the solution we use when no one else makes what we are looking for. Did you have something specific in mind?

I know that, and have built 10 or so FG boxes in the past, I only ask because I will be getting a bunch of cars that will need audio systems, and wanted a pre-fabbed FG box to compliment the system. I just don't have the time to make a box for each car, when you add that work to all the performance mods that are mainly what sold the car in the first place,,,

I wasn't questioning your experience there, dude. All I was saying is that there are many prefabbed solutions on the market, depending on the vehicle, but you're not going to find them made of fiberglass. Hand-laid FG or even sprayed is much more labor intensive than other methods. If you owned a manufacturing business, you'd want to bang out hundreds per day rather than one every couple of days, no?

I knew what you meant, I was just explaining my reasoning, and why I didn't want to do it myself... rather than not explaning it and having 100 people try to convince me that it's not that hard to do it myself...

I forgot to mention, that I assumed there would be at least one company doing this, as I found a link on here to a Co. selling 'custom' FG door panels. they were custom alright, but nothing too great, and at 600 USD each....

For a decent fg box that holds two 10" or two 12" subs you'll be looking at around $400 ish for each box.  Maybe less if you can get a mass discount deal.  That's what I've seen so far with what I've seen.
