i have an illuminating switch to be connected to neon lights, on the switch it has 3 terminals marked: 1power, 2acc, 3ground... could someone tell me where i would connect the positive neon wire and the negative... and whether i have to earth the switch.... please help as i have already blown up 1 pair of these things... thankyou

there is 3 poles on the switch, one end is 12vlts constant - middle is ground and other is the where the power goes when switched

The wires should be connected as it says on the switch. 1. 12v source  2. to your lights input. 3. to ground usually close to switch. You also have to ground the lights usually  near the lights with the ground wire of the lights.
