I have an equalizer that I needs a 12volt power feed. My first thought is to pull power off of the fuse block. Is there a better place to pull this power from? If not what is the best fuse to tap into for this purpose?

An EQ does not require much power.  You can pretty much grab it from anywhere... where is the EQ mounted in relation to the head unit?  Can you simply share the HU power?

[]You can pull the 12volt supply from any place- ideally from the head-unit supply would be a lot more better.

It would be a lot more better if we knew what kind of car you had. We could tell you what color the wire would be.
