ive been looking around and i seen a lot of different subs but I want something that will last a while and take a beating from hell.  i like so far the RE MT12, Massive Audio Stage 2 SPL DMX12, Crossfire XS-SPL12, HiFonics 12" olympus series, Pioneer SPL champion edition 12",  Orion HCCA 12.2, or DD. any subs you might think of or recommend for me? im probably going to be pushing a Hifonics Goliath or 2500 to 4000watts rms.

the mtx 9500.. why do you say those? i looked at them but you think they can handle up to 5000watts.. i plan on using a hifonics goliath.. and getting an aftermarket alternator and batteries to power it. i just dont want to waste money on something that doesnt perform the way id like it to.. they look like good speakers tho..

they do look like some good speakers.. i just need more opinions

I suggested the 9500 because these subs are great and can take a beating. We installed a single 12" 9500 powered with a 1500 RMS amplifier and it hasn't lost a SPL competition yet and it's been 2 years on the local circuit. The sub is a dual 4 ohm and can be wired to 2 ohms. Are you wanting to go with one or two subs ?
