i recently purchased two (2) Hifonics Brutus 1200w single channel amps and two (2) Hifinics Brutus 10 inch subs and im trying to save some money so i'd like to install them my self but im not 100% sure how to wire them to the lowest possible ohm. could any one help????

need more info on the woofers.
DUAL or SINGLE voice coils? and also the ohms.

they are dual voice coil, 4ohm 1000w max

Sup Maros, You have no options with that equipment, parallel is the only way. In which case you could of saved money using one amp for both 10's. Your wattage peaks at 1 ohm- * -both 10's wired parallel. Using both amps with both 10's wired parallel at 2 ohm is only 3/4 of each amps potential, but, since they are 10's, thats prolly ok. If I were you, Id stick to the forum if you feel it necessary to install yourself....ask before you buy is always a good idea.

Option 1 (parallel) = 2 ohm load
Voice coils wired in parallel
Recommended Amplifier: Stable at 2 or 1 ohm mono
hifonics -- posted image.
 

Option 2 (series) = 8 ohm load

Wire each speaker as above.  Connect one speaker to each amp.
