This is all going in my boat keep in mind!!
Hey here is what I've got.. Two dvc 2ohm cvx subs two svc 4ohm Sony subs and a 1500 rms @ 1 ohm mtx mono.
The cvx subs are going in a .9 qubic feet sealed inclosure each on the deck of the boat and Sony subs in a bandpass in the hull of the boat..
So here is my questions for this setup!! I want to run the cvx subs in paralell with the coils in series to get a 2ohm load. The sony subs in paralell to get a 2ohm load. All on the one mtx amp.
Will this give the amp a 1ohm load?
And will tha Sony subs get half the power because they ate 4ohm? If so that's what I want..
Can it even be wired like that?
Any sugestions or ideas feel free!!!
Thanks
chris

Yes the amp will see a 1 ohm load.  Each speaker will recieve the same amount of power.  As far as the amp and Ohms Law are concerned, each is a 4 ohm driver.

Thanks this setup should work nice then.. Is there any way to send more power to the kicker cvx subs than the sony subs in this setup?

Wire the sony's in series for an 8 ohm load on those 2.

The amp will then see a 1.6 ohm load
