i ahve printed that and will try it, so i am assuming the antenna wire connects to the wire that says antenna trigger, and the illumintaion goes to the hot with ignition?

the head unit's remote turn on, or power antenna wire goes to the antenna trigger wire.  The illuminiation wire you don't need to hook up for the deck to work properly. In fact, unless you're totally positive of the hookup I wouldn't connect it as an incorrect hookup can damage other components in the vehicle
