2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, Pac Audio LP7-2 Install

I am planning to install an aftermarket sub and amp on my cousin's 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara with the factory stereo. I'm pretty sure it has the premium sound system, as it has the alpine 8" in the back. I purchased the pac audio LP7-2, but I'm a little confused on the install. I understand the power, ground, and remote, but not the speakers. I plan on making the connections at the factory amp location, but which speaker wires do I connect to? If I connect the LOC to the factory sub wires, is there any kind of LPF setting on the factory amp that could affect my aftermarket subs? I would appreciate any help I get. Thanks

Thank you for the reply. I usually like to set the crossover a little lower than that. Will that affect the aftermarket amp settings? Also, the back of the factory sub has four wires (I'm assuming for dual voice coils), I haven't checked the connections on the factory amp yet, but if all four wires are there do I hook them up to the four wires (white, white/black & grey, grey/black) from the LOC, if so; do you know which ones? Sorry about all the questions. I have only every installed amps on aftermarket units, so I have never had to use a LOC before :).

The factory amp crossover point won’t affect you setting the aftermarket crossover as long as your crossover point is lower, which you already stated it will be. I’m sure the wiring section on this site probably has the wiring guide you needdouble-secret reverse-osmosis speaker-cone-induced high-level interference distortion, Its a killer

Thank you! That's good to know about the crossover. I checked the wiring guide and it shows the positive and negative colors for the single 8 inch sub in the back, but it still has all four wires. The guide labels them Subwoofer (1) & (2). Do you know how I go about connecting the wires off of the LOC? Do I... 1.Connect Subwoofer(1) to white/white black & Subwoofer(2) to grey/grey black? 2.Connect all the positives together and all the negatives together? 3.Connect both positives from the LOC and both negatives to just Subwoofer(1)? Or... 4.Connect the positives and negatives from both Subwoofers (1)&(2) to just the white/white black wires from the LOC? Again, I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks

1. Yes, that would work just fine. Don't try combining all the positives or negatives.My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
