Here's the issue.  I have 4 infinity Kappa 572.5 CF speakers, powered by an Audiobahn A4601Q 4 channel amp.  1 Of my front passenger side speakers sounds slightly different from the others.  It seems a little deeper, and somewhat muffled.  Am I facing a blown speaker?  Wiring incorrect?  It has an external Crossover.

Actually, I just double checked everything.  The mids work fine, but the Highs, from the tweeter, aren't sounding very well.  How do I check for tweeter function?

When I said check polarity I meant to also check the hookups from the crossovers to the tweeters and woofers on your system.  The Kappa 572.5CF uses external crossovers, and if the polarity to the tweeter is wrong on one or both speaker systems, your sound will be muddied.

Polarity is right on... The crossovers are fool-safe, in that every output terminal is a vastly different size, and a few different colors.  The input terminals on the speaker itself, (male plugs) are designed to only hold the corresponding lead.  Everything in that category is dead on,  beleive me, I checked.  I still am sticking to my tweeter theory but also forgot to mention the car was in an accident on that very door, well before I installed everything.  Is it possible the sound deadener within the door, (applied by the body shop) is causing different acoustics than in the other doors?  I use XTC foam baffles as well, on all doors......

Yes, it is possble, but it would affect the sound from the woofer much more than from the tweeter.  IIRC, those 5X7 Infinity's have plastic frames, so if the speaker mounting opening on the damaged door got tweaked and is not the correct size, the speaker may have gotten twisted or distorted physically when it was screwed down.

I suggest swapping the speakers right and left, and see if the problem moves with the speaker or stays with the door.  Then you'll know which is causing the trouble.
