Hi all,

I have a 2004 Trailblazer. Installed a PIE GM12-AUX a few months ago to hook up my Roadie. It works great, I get Aux 1 & Aux 2. Yesterday I thought I'd putz around with my OnStar and I got no audio through the speakers. It says "PHONE" on the radio but just a scratching sound, no "OnStar Ready" voice. The Radio is stock and has a "BAND" button, internal 6 CD changer, no Bose. My question is, is this the right adapter I have in? Like I said, it does work but just no OnStar audio. I looked at the PAC AAI-GM24 and says fully compatable with OnStar but also says... will not work in the S10, SSR, TrailBlazer, Envoy or Bravada vehicles. I really don't use the OnStar but I thought it might come in handy someday and want to keep it working. Thanks in advance for any help with this.

Danny

that has nothing to do with the Aux input on these units.... it also doesnt work with OnStar ( you'd need to use the GMOS-01 )

let me play around and see if i can replicate that same situation here

Thanks guys for the replies. I ordered the AAI-GM24. I called PAC and talked to the tech guy, explained everything, and he said this would work with the 2004 Trailblazer. I'll take his word for it  PIE or PAC 04 Trailblazer -- posted image.

I'll post my results after I get it and install it.

BTW Anyone need a slightly used GM-12 AUX.....  PIE or PAC 04 Trailblazer -- posted image.

Has anyone been able to get this to work on on a 2002 or 2003 Trailblazer.

I have a response to this in this post:
