What your looking for is a deck with the feature "8cm disc direct loading".

Most of the decks that have this feature are produced for the australia marketplace where the 8cm disc has alot more popularity then north america. there are several decks available from Pioneer and Awia (sony).

I purchased an Alpine CDE-7860 and it plays 8 cm discs, r/rw. I wasn´t looking for a cd receiver that could play these cd's but it can. Lots of car radios play these cd's. It's very handy.

Actually, this seems to be unknowen to most but almost all kenwood decks made in the last 4 years will play and 8 cm disc. I have one customer who used to work with me but went to sell cars, anyways he uses 8 cm discs all the time and I have tried these discs on a few different players and the kenwoods do it all the time.
