I have two 12" mtx 7500 subs. I want to try them in a ported box, something I will build. But upon looking at the specs it doesn't mention how to build a dual box. I am not sure if  it should be a common air box or should I seperate it into two chambers w/ two ports. And how do i calculate the measurements for two?

A lot has to do with how you like you sound.I think separate is better for me. Each sub having their on chamber, that way if one sub goes out the other sub doesn’t work harder. You say you have the specs for one box. Take the length for one box and double the front, back, top, and bottom of it. You have to add ¾ inch to all of these lengths for the middle divider to get the right air space. Now you have one box with two chambers. Port the length your specs tell you and put one on each chamber. The ports need to be in the right spot. If you use 3 inch ports then stay away from everything 3 inches. I think the ports should be on the same side as the sub. But I had to put mine on the top of the box I built because the sub side was not wide enough. It sounds ok to me.
