alpine 9813 wiring question

I hooked up my 9813 but whenever I turn it on the antenna goes up, even when the radio isn't on.  Isn't there a switched power wire that sends out a signal ONLY when the radio is on, not the headunit in general?? THANKS

WHat vehicle do you own? Did you use the proper antenna adaptor?
Did you possibly hook the amp turn on lead to the antenna?
Also, please be patient when posting. It takes awhile(15seconds) for your post to be registered. SO now you have two threads named the same thing.

sorry about the multi thread, I'mnot sure what happened, even thought I'm new to this forum, I use many and didn't mean to repost, I think it was the computer or hitting the button, I donno.
