ok, im an amature intaller and am looking for info for my own ride. i have a 1986 dodge diplomat with a sony xplod package. L600x head unit (upgrading to 900 soon) xplod 3-way 6x9s powered by a jenson 300W 2-channel, and 2 12" xplod 1235 series subs in a small dual-sealed box being pushed by a 760W pioneer 2 channel. now that you have the base items, im looking to get a better amp for the subs. RMS is 200W and peak max is 800W. i am upgrading to the aluminum cone ones soon im looking for an amp for those mainly and ill just not run the amp at full till i get the better subs. im looking for a class D or X amp that will run 2 ohm stable mono and will push the subs to the max for under 400 bucks. any suggestions should be mailed to me at merlin727@yahoo.com for the fact im not on the computer to check forums alot. thank you.

Be careful when using Explod HU's.  They have a problem handleing high bass levels.  At certain frequencies the CD unit will skip.
