Does anyone know how to remove the factory amplifier from a 1992 Ford Explorer XLT? I just instalIed a Panasonic CQ-C5301U and I cannot get my speakers to work. If I install the amplifier by-pass I think this will solve my problem. I know where it is located but I do not know how to get to it. Can someone please help me?

Is it in the rear behind the side panel? If so post and I will tell you how to get to it, I can't remember if the 92 put it there but I know some later models do.
