I would get another 81001, put one on each 9500 10",  and build a better box. With 2 10's, you have more space to work with for something emaculate. I think the 2 10's have more potential than that AmericanBass 15".

$.02 from me.

I agree with Jmelton I would stay away from american bass. Those speakers are definitely worth keeping and in a different enclosure with some more power and you should be able to realize your 145.

Ported is the only way to get huge numbers. Find out what ported box volume MTX recommends for each 9510, find out what tuning freq. you are to be competing at, figure out the port diameter you prefer, and use this calculator to find out how long the port needs to be.

Also, more power!system that will hit 145+ -- posted image.

i did go to mtx .com and the sledge hammer enclosure is already at the spec theyt 139.8..... i am part of a small team that is starting out... im not the box guy im the wires and alternator instaler guysystem that will hit 145+ -- posted image.......but the box guy said i might get a few more db from a different box...ohh and the 139.8 was with music....but our senior guy said that american bass is good he was runnin kove speakers..2 15's and hit 155 on the term....but he suggested going with those thats why i ask....plus down here every one is in the dd phase so i would be competing against those all 9500 though no 9900...so should i still just build a different boxeven though i already have the box that mtx recomends...and the amp they recomend for 2 9510's...another 81001? should i will it be okay...

Have to tried positioning the Sledgehammer any different ways?

I'm sure a different box, built Really solid, would have better results.
