07 ion remote start troubles

Hey all,
I've installed an astrostart 1105 with a XK06 bypass on an 07 ION. The car will start a bunch of times then not at all. With or without the key. It seems to go into lock out mode after using the remote start a few times. Not sure if the bypass is receiving interference through the RS or what. Any help would be much appreciated.
Oh ya and when I have an optional output hooked up to drivers door pin to pulse after shutdown, the doors will only lock if you push the button on the fob 2 or 3 times.

it will start with remote after sitting for a few minutes. Then I can start it with the key unlimited times, but when I go to remote start again it goes into lock out mode, and neither key nor remote will work for 5-10 minutes. Do you think it's possible for the ground out while running line to be causing feedback to the bypass module?
Any help would be great...

On this vehicle I would use the two relay method with resistor.
I recently did a 2007 canyon and Hummer H3 with the same set up and this worked the best. I tried a bypass and it did what you said, locked out starter even with regular key. The diagram is as follows:
relay #1
pin 86 to 12v+ start wire off remote starter
pin 85 to negative status wire (-) while running
pin 30 to pin 87 of relay #2
pin 87a to reference wire of passlock system WHITE/ yellow
pin 87 through resistor to WHITE/ yellow passlock wire
relay#2
pin 86 diode with band facing toward relay other end to 12v ignition
pin 85 to negative status wire (-) while running
pin 87 to pin 30 of relay #1
pin 87a to key side of cut passlock wire WHITE/ blue
pin 30 to BCM side of cut passlock wire WHITE/ blue
get the resistance by starting vehicle with key and leave running. Cut WHITE/ blue wire and use a DMM to get resistance by reference wire and turning key. This vehicle will have an OEM anti-grind circuit so it wont try to crank again. Once you get resistance value, add the proper resistance to the wire from pin 87 of first relay.

I will probably end up going that route.
Do you think that I should put a diode in line with the driver door pin switch. When I have the door pin hooked up the door has trouble locking with the remote, when it's not hooked up the door locks fine.

the drivers door pin was hooked up to pulse after shutdown to turn the radio off.

radio should turn off automatically after 10-15 minutes.

You could wire a relay to break the radio acc. wire while running on remote start.
Accessory     YELLOW          (+)          RADIO HARNESS
Cut yellow wire and side going to power source to pin 30 and side going to radio pin 87a. Then wire ignition 12V to pin 86 and ground while running off remote starter to pin 85.

This module does all the passlocks without failure.

It's the most accurate module I ever had to work with 0.001v accuracy. Never had passlock failure.

Hey all,
Thanks for all the replies. I ended up using the relay method to bypass the passlock system and it worked great. The bypass module apparently is known for seeing different values sometimes which in turn locks out remote and key. I recommend using relay's and will from now on. The new can bus systems are the culprit's...ION's,Canyon's, Colorado's,etc.
I changed the output for the driver's door pin from "pulse after shutdown" to "dome sensor". Then programmed unit for antitheft rearming type 2. This was do to the door pin being triggered at the same time as the door lock and cancelling out the lock.
By the way this was using the Astrostart 1105.
Thanks to all of you and the good fella's at Astro tech support.
