old command start

I have an old command start in the truck I just bought it keeps starting on its own it doesnt matter how cold it is outside. its a cs -555 can anyone direct me. I would like to get it going before my nuts freeze off thanks... woody

The CS systems that start on their own have been proven to be the transmitter. To test, remove the battery from the remote control and if it doesn't start on it's own when it normally does, then that was the problem. If the vehicle still starts, then it could be that the cold temperature feature has been turned on and it starts when the vehicle temperature reaches a certain temperature that is preset on the CS unit.
