How can I adjust an existing alarm system to NOT reset itself when left alone.  I need it to set only when the owner pushes the remote button.  2000 Toyota Tundra v8 4wd Access Cab

Thanks.

Ok, If this is a factory RS3000 setup, try this. Insert the key into the ignition switch, turn it to on, not acc. Using a remote control, press and hold both buttons at the same time for over 2 seconds, until the Status monitor LED turns on. You must perform the next step within 30 seconds. Press and release the top remote button twice, there should be 2 chirps, and the exterior lights flash twice. Then turn the ignition switch to the lock position. There should be 3 more chirps and exterior lights should flash 3 times.

Sorry, you can NOT post a reply.
