OK, I cant seem to get my CarVox 2300A's Turbo mode to work on my F-250. What I would like to know is some general information so that I can trouble shoot it.
What triggers a remote start that you are shutting the engine off so that it can keep it running without the key until the timer runs out?
I am assuming that all the turbo mode is, is a timer that keeps 12v on the ignition lead for x amount of time. If thats wrong could someone clue me in please.
To activate the turbo mode, so far as I can tell from the instructions on this alarm (which are a bit lacking on instructions). All I have to do is ensure that I have the turbo mode icon showing on my remote. Then just put the truck in park and turn it off.
FYI this particular RM start has the following wires, hot, ign 1, ign2, acc, starter, by-pass (not used), wait to start, neutral saftey, and tack wires.
Any suggestions or information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks... and Merry Christmas!!!

im not familiar with carvox alarms so i have a few questions. is turbo mode a programmable feature that you need to turn on through the program button or is does it tell you to press a combination of buttons on your keypad to activate it?

Its programed through the remote and can be set for 1, 2, or 3 min. According to what I understand from the instructions you press *+* and it turns the turbo mode on (and I do get the turbo icon to show when I do this) and it should be in place every time I turn the truck off until I press *+* again and toggle the turbo icon off.
I studying the wiring diagram some more and I am thinking that what triggers it my be a wire comes off of the alarm brain rather than one of the wires on the remote start module. I am thinking that it would almost have to be the wire that says to connect it to "(+) Ignition of key cylinder input". Does that sound like a likely candidate to you?
Here is a link to the instruction manual.
