Hi, I'm new to this forum. I just installed a compustar starter in a 2005 Toyota Matrix. Install went smoothly, tach learn etc no problem. The only issue that I can't seem to figure out is that it goes into valet mode each time i start the car with the key. I do have a Blade transponder, that seems to work fine. If I put it in and out of valet the remote start works perfectly. It seems like it resets each time on its own. I have double checked all connections, and my ground is good. I must be missing something, but just can't seem to put my finger on it. The battery is original, seems good. I don't have a tester here to load test it at the moment.

Double checked everything. I am going to talk to my supplier tomorrow. I can't find anything wrong at all. It would appear to either be a module problem or a programming issue. I can't find anything related to options that might cause it to default to valet without any input telling it to. Seems like an odd module glitch to me though, because it does work properly once put in and then out of valet mode. I have found different valet issues by searching but none like this one. Would love any advice before I return to my supplier. thanks in advance.
