I have a Clifford Matrix 3.5
1) Hooked up red to constant 12V
2) Hooked up black to ground
3) Hooked up Orange TX wire to brain's BROWN wire (siren output)
---did the above, but my backup siren does not work????
Anyone have any ideas where I went wrong?

Doesn't the siren come with a specific plug to be plugged directly into the unit? The brown you've used is a 12V+ on siren sounding,  the orange sits on ground and is data. The brain or siren is probably US by now.

Thanks for the picture, the wiring assembly in the plastic bag should plug into a ready made port for it in the main module, except I've just looked at one via directechs and there doesn't seem to be a port for it!  I'm afraid that come Monday you will have to phone DEI tech support and get any info. Sorry.
