The wire is more commonly referred to as a (-)ground out when running wire. What Model starter is that Prostart? your wire may be orange, but I would need to know what model. Just look in the manual for a wire that is a negative (-) ground output only while the Remote Starter (RS) is on. There should be some mention of this in the manual.

I just installed a remote starter in my 99 sunfire but when I go to start it just starts and then stalls. But if I go and start it right after I have taken the key out from driving it around it it starts. Why will it not start like 5 min latter

Thank you for the help

Sounds like you did not bypass the PASSLOCK system. If you so a search on your vehicle or passlock you should find the unit you need to buy.

I have a 99 Sunfire and I cant get my r/s to work I I can't find a wire.

R/S

(White) + parking lights

(Red)  Constant 12 v

(Brown) + Siren

(Black) Ground

(Orange) 30 amp Relay Starter Kill - output

(Grey) Spark plug wire

(Green) Door pin -

(Blue) Hood Pin +

(Violet) Door pin +

(Yellow) Brake Light +

Bypass

(Light Blue) Ignition 3 Neg input

Which wire would that be I can't seem to find the right one(I think this is the one that is wrong)

I know every think else but the bypass is hooked up right, if I start the car with the key and then turn it off and start it with the remote right after it starts. Any time after that it does not work
