Hello all!!!! Well I seem to having a problem with my remote start in my 2007 Mazdaspeed 3. I have the following:

Compustar RF-P2WSS and the brain is a CM5000

Using the Blade TB module

Everything is hooked up right the alarm work flawlessly but we can't seem to get the blade module to fully program. We go through the key programing procedure as follows:

Using Type 2 install

1. Insert key one and turn to the on position...module led will turn red then turn off remove key

2. Insert key 2 and turn to the on position ....module led will turn red then turn off remove key (All within 5 seconds and keys are being put on floorboard of car)

3. Press button on module...led will turn red...instruction says press the remote start on remote or jump with 12 volts. We are jumping with 12 volts due to the fact with all the key on off sequence reservation mode can not be set. vehicle powers up then we hear a series of clicking noises and nothing happens. The led on the module stays red, will not go to green.

We called compustar and they told us that it sounds like the module might not be programmed for the vehicle. So I went to a authorized compustar dealer and had them check to see if it was flashed for my car which it was. The firmware for the brain was also updated.

Here is how we have everything wired:

WHITE/ black rx bcm side going to the wht/green rx on the vehicle imobilizer

WHITE/ red rx ecm side and the ORANGE / blk going to the wht/grn rx

Gray/red tx ecm going to the gray/red tx on the imobilizer

If anyone can give some suggestions to what the problem might be pls chime in. Thanks.......Justin

Justin, are you resetting the Blade module everytime you re-try ? If not, you must do this.

Also, when you press the button on the Blade module, make sure that it is fully depressed, otherwise it will not go into learn mode when you apply 12 volts to the GREEN wire at the CN1 harness.

The wiring is correct that you posted. Try another module and if the BLADE doesn't work, try a normal TB
