Hello anyone. I am trying to get rid of my factory alarm system in my 91 acura legend. My problem is that I have to leave my door unlock becuse if i lock them the alarm will go off every time.  I dont know much about alarm system, but  I have cut the wires to the door switch and the alarm still went off when I opened the door. I was told I need  A new door switch but i would rather intergrate a aftermarket alarm. Is this possible. help me g et rid of this problem. oh yeah i removed the security module also but of course the car will not start with out it... i have a wiring diagram now thanks to the guys on here just let me know what i have to do.... thanks

Hey Acura Driver, there's a GREEN/ RED wire found at the OEM security module that needs to be grounded at all times in order for the system to be bypassed. OR you can cut the GREEN/ YELLOW OEM arm wire so that the security system can not be armed any more. See if this helps and post your results.
